Garrett Bodley is a Brooklyn based saxophonist and music educator. A graduate of the esteemed Jazz Conservatory at Purchase College, he has privately studied with the likes of Eric Alexander, Gary Smulyan, Ralph Lalama and Mark Vinci. He also had the privilege of being mentored by Jon Faddis, Todd Coolman, Hal Galper, Steve Wilson, Peter Malinverni, Doug Weiss and many other great musicians. During his time at Purchase College, he played in both the Purchase Jazz Orchestra and the Purchase Latina Jazz orchestra. Garrett has performed with Bobby Porcelli, Jim Seeley, Bob Albanese, John Faddis and Gary Smulyan. He has performed at venues such as the Blue Note, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
